Story
This year Liverpool ISOC need your help MORE than ever to help raise as much money as we can for the Refugee Appeal. With the help of Human Relief and Ustadh Adam Kelwick, we are hoping to raise money for those most in need.
The refugees are fleeing war and significant atrocities in their home countries. Many have traveled to France via the Mediterranean route in overcrowded boats at the mercy of smugglers and traffickers. All the refugees have NO ACCESS to funds or housing, this is why they reside in the camp. Most of the refugees in the camp are highly vulnerable people.
Due to the conflict, many people have faced and continue to face INJURY, DISABILITY, TORTURE, STARVATION, NEGLECT AND POOR MENTAL HEALTH.
