Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As you know, we have decided to take up the challange of competing our own 24 hour tennis marathon on the 25/26th June 2011, starting at 15:30.

As a team it is are aim to raise as much money for the Shooting Star Childerens Hospice in Hampton. For all of you that are not aware, the hospice helps support childeren with Life debilitating conditions, along with providing a support network to the families trying to cope with the circumstances that occur when caring for a seriously ill child.

Along the way, it will be great to get as many members and friends involved with the day as possible and we are sure that at some time during the marathon, we will have windows of opportunity for people to get involved and play for an hour or two should they wish.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Keep looking at the notice board in the clubhouse for any updates, along with a spread sheet for people listing the hours that are still available to play and get involved.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks

Matt Hollister, Keith Lester, Ian McIlrath, Jeff Howe, Tom Murrell, Ian Jerome Sean Keeling, Tom Bolshaw and James Patten
