Story
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) has been raising money for various charities for decades and this year we will once again be organising our flagship event - the Charity Challenge.
This year is the organisation's 28th charity event titled 'Mercy 4 Mankind' and will consist of a walk/run, bikeathon and a hike.
AMYA Yorkshire will be raising money for Weston Park Cancer Hospital.
Weston Park Hospital treats patients affected by cancer from the whole of South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire, a population of £1.8 million people. The
Sheffield-based hospital also has specialist expertise in certain cancer treatments so treats patients from right across the country, such as choriocarcinoma – a cancer which originates from pregnancy.
The charity supports an extensive programme of cancer research into new cancer drugs, at Weston Park Hospital, which has an international reputation as a centre of excellence in cancer care, cancer treatment and the pioneering research.
AMYA Yorkshire are proud to raise money for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity and help those affected by cancer.
