Story
Hi Guys! Thanks for supporting me!
ITS ALL GONE!!! I'M A CUEBALL, BALDY, SLAPHEAD ETC ETC!
It all went down well at The Royal Oak on Bayhall Park Roads who played host to Angus Newall’s Head shaving charity night where guests were given the opportunity to bid to shave my bonce! The evening started with a lovely meal cooked by Landlady Yvonne and everyone was made very welcome by the staff. After supper and with a bit of Dutch courage (or rather Kentish ale!) I took to the chair to begin the auction! To be honest i was a little nervous The bidding was frantic and it ended up between friends Ismail(who has very little hair) and Neil (who has more hair than anyone i know!)who where somewhat desperate to get stuck in to relieve me of my lucious locks! In the end i decided that they could have half a head each! But it ended in a melee where quite a few people had a general hack! I managed to survive the onslaught with just a few nicks and cuts! The evening was a great success enjoyed and has raised over £400 for the Centre £100 raised by the bidding alone! and was welcome break for Polly and other Pickering volunteers who had the rare occasion to have a get together outside of the Centre. The next fundraiser for the centre will be an Irish Night at the Spa Hotel on Friday 19th March, with Irish dancers and plenty more! To contact the Pickering centre go to www.pickeringcancercentre.org.uk , or drop into The Centre at 27 Monson Rd. Donate here through the Pickering Centre, or donate on the night! The Money was being raised for The Pickering Cancer Drop in Centre in Monson Road, Tunbridge Wells, an entirely voluntary organization where anyone affected by cancer in any way and feel the need to talk and be with caring and friendly people can drop in. There is no need to make an appointment, just go; there will always be someone there to listen. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
