I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone for the donations and the support given to help me complete the run. It was an amazing day with sunshine and blue skies. A bit hot and hilly but the atmosphere was quite incredible. A day to remember. Thank you

Earlier this year I had a very "senior" moment and decided to enter the Great North Run on the 20th September 2009....13.1 miles ---must be mad. The training regime is incredibly tough but never one to give up on a challenge however foolhardy I continue to battle on.

I am continuing to raise money for MAGPAS which is the emergency service for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Earlier this year a family incident occured which required an air ambulance and emergency services. This incident could have proved fatal for a family member  had not been for these invaluable voluntary services.
