Story
Ladies & Gentlement,
As some of you know, and many who do not, my MUM, Jane Styles, has suffered from a b**tard of an disease called MS for over 15 years now. It is a disease that has taken so much from mum, and continues to do so, yet her continuous possitive approch is nothing short of inspiring. Sinse my last event to raise funds in 2010 the disease has caused her movements, comfort and standard of life to progessively deteriorate at a heartless and god forsaken rate! It is something that breaks the heart of all of us to witness and I can only truely admire how she copes.
Therefore I am proposing the new event below. The Challenge will be physically demanding and emotionally draining, however it will be nothing compared to what my mum and thousands of other sufferers face EVERYDAY of their lives. I want to acknowledge her struggle and recognise her bravery by pushing myself to my own limits. The aim is that the money, and the awareness that I will raise will go some way to helping many other sufferers and their families.
