I have only previously run the Great North Run (2012) and Blaydon Races (2011) and besides casual running here and there since 2010, 500 miles in one year will be a genuine challenge for me.

I have decided to raise money for Cancer Research UK given that a number of my family members and friends have recently experienced tragedy or scares and the sooner a cure is found, the better. I'd like to, in some small way and rather humbly, play my part in achieving this, and I know any support you can provide will go a very long way.
