Nystagmus means involuntary movements of the eye. It impairs vision, affecting focus and depth perception. At least 1 in 1,000 babies are born with nystagmus. There is currently no cure. The Nystagmus Network is a UK registered charity which provides support, raises awareness and funds research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This will be my first Marathon so I'm looking forward to it. I have decided to raise money for Nystagmus Network as my youngest daughter, Aimee-Rose who is 4, suffers from the condition and was diagnosed with congenital nystagmus from about 6 months old.

I have found that not many people have heard of the eye condition, so, by running the marathon, I will hopefully help raise peoples awareness about nystagmus and what living with it can be like.

So please dig deep and donate now.
