The National Three Peaks Challenge · 6 June 2014

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

We are competing in the Three Peaks Challenge on 6th June, raising money for The Prince's Trust and Myasthenia Gravis.

We all work together in Plymouth for UPP and are trying to raise as much money as we can for these fantastic causes.

We will be leaving Plymouth at 03:00 on Friday 6th June, arriving in Scotland to begin climbing Ben Nevis at 17:30 and finishing at 22:30. Then we will drive for 6 hours south to Scafell Pike and begin climbing at 04:30 finishing at 08:30 then driving to Snowdon to start climbing at 13:30, finishing at 17:30, 24 hours later, followed by some liquid refreshment in a local hostelry!

The team consists of 7 walkers and 2 drivers/chefs

Alex Bettinson, Kieren Hobday, Lesley Johnson, Karly Orchard, Aaron Pearce, Karen Peters and Sharon Stokes, ably supported by Matt Clark and Trevor Quaintance
