Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page :)

I'm raising £300 this Ramadhan for Penny Appeal to donate towards its WOW (Women's Welfare) campaign.

£300 goes towards supporting and empowering girls and women; working towards gender equality throughout the world.

The WOW campaign aims to provide sustainable change in the lives of women and girls in parts of Africa and Asia.

The lasting effects in reducing poverty that Penny Appeal have seen in ending discrimination, eliminating harmful practices and promoting equal opportunities, reveals that Penny Appeal's work in is of crucial importance, and thus we need to continue and increase positive impact on the lives of women and girls.

The Women's Welfare campaign supports women and girls in gaining access to a better future through education, counselling, employment skill workshops and more.

To help raise funds this Ramadhan, I'm taking part in the Manchester Great 10k Run on the 20fh May.

The women in my family emphasise the importance of education, training, learning different skills and taking opportunities. For other women round the world, this should be a normality.

Help Penny Appeal to transform the lives of women round the world by donating to me.

Thank you

Abbaas
