Hello, I'm Abbie. On the 19th of July I will be doing a parachute jump in aid of The Liam Fairhurst Foundation which is a charity that helps young people affected by cancer, disability and illness. This will not only be my first time jumping from a plane, but my first time being on a plane at all. In 2012 and 2013, a friend, Tristan, and my baby cousin, Olivia, were diagnosed with cancer. Seeing the hard work of their families to continuously fund-raise, even throughout their battles, has inspired me to raise money for such an important cause in order to help the sick and their loved ones through a difficult time.
