<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Alex Evans and Nick Thompson are attempting to complete the MAC 4X4 Challenge 2012 in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support which improves the lives of people affected by cancer. www.mac4x4.co.uk</p> <p>This is the 11th MAC 4X4 Challenge and we would like to thank everyone who supported Team Aber S.A.R. last year in helping us to raise &pound;4362 as a team&nbsp;towards&nbsp;the event&nbsp;total.</p> <p>This year (2012) Team Aber S.A.R. has grown from Tom and&nbsp;Huw in 2010&nbsp;to a 3 Vehicle team, with all 6 team members being Aberystwyth Coastguard and RNLI volunteer crew.</p> <p>Joining Al in 'Chelsea Tractor', a Discovery 2, as Navigator is Nick.</p> <p><a title="Huw and Stuart" href="http://www.justgiving.com/AberSAR">Huw and Stuart</a> have entered in Moonlander, and Tom along with Jenny has entered his own Landrover, Guinevere.</p> <p>The Mac 4X4 is a true test of navigational,orienteering and observational skills, with on and off road sections. It is a test of real endurance both day and night over&nbsp;3 long days covering well over 1000 miles with a host of tests en route. We have to be totaly self sufficient from start to finish over the 4 days, camping and catering all from the boot of our vehicles. Camping in the snow in March is particularily testing.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
