London Air Ambulance Annual Abseil · 27 April 2012

When patients in London suffer life-threatening injury, only our team can provide them with the help they need. With your support, we can perform complex procedures to save lives where others can’t. We can get there in time to make a difference and provide hope for the patient and their loved ones.

Story

On Friday 15th we successfully abseiled down all 541 ft of the Broadgate tower, despite some fairly strong winds and some rain.  Some of us enjoyed it more than others but it was an experience for all.

Thanks very much to everyone who has supported us.  When we started we didn't know how much to aim for but our arbitary £6k target seemed sufficiently ambitious so to more than double that is both gratifying and humbling.

Kind regards

PS We're open to suggestions for next year's challenge
