My story
My Great Wall of China Challenge & The Dales Recipe Book
On 19th April 2012, I will be heading to China to trek 80km along the Great Wall! Why? to raise lots of money for charity!
To help along the way, I've created the 'Dishes from the Dales recipe book' and it's ON SALE NOW!!!!!
The book is just £5 and with over 35 recipes donated by local residents, plus some special additions from Ellen MacArthur and The Dutchess of Devonshire, it's an absolute steal!! Contact me to get your hands on one before they all go!
Why trek the Great Wall!?
Definitely not your average holiday, I'll be trekking up to 8 hours a day across various sections of the wall and making my way up (and down) thousands and thousands of steps on this 7 day challenge.
The purpose of this is to raise money for Crossroads Care East Midlands - a charity which does incredible work to help carers in the East Midlands. Crossroads offers support to those who care for a loved one by providing essential breaks from the stresses of caring, allowing them to take part in activities that many of us take for granted.
Your donation will help Crossroads to continue offering support to carers across the East Midlands and help in the training of their staff - ensuring they possess the specialist skills required.
