My boss - the Chief Executive of TSB, Paul Pester - is challenging Partners across TSB to take part in this year's London Triathlon. It's a challenge that we are referring to as #beattheboss! 

As Paul's EA, I think there was little chance I was ever going to get away without taking part - so on Saturday 8th August I will be doing a 750-metre swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run around the Excel Centre in London Docklands. (This wasn't in the job description when I accepted the EA role!)

I'm neither runner, swimmer nor cycler - so there's going to be lots of training required! 

All the Partners at TSB are also looking to raise as much money as possible for good causes as part of our effort. I've chosen to support MacMillan Cancer Support.

The Macmillan team supports people diagnosed with cancer, and their friends and family every step of the way. They are the nurses and therapists helping people through treatment. The experts on the end of the phone. The advisers telling you which benefits you’re entitled to. The supporters who make it all possible. No one should face cancer alone.
