<p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #808080;">Over the past decade I have been privileged to work within the beauty and skincare industry, during which time I have come across many skin related issues and concerns, some for the sake of beauty which I can&rsquo;t deny is a lovely aspect of my work but not all is just for vanities sake, many conditions that affect a person&rsquo;s daily life. Skin conditions that literally stare a person in the face, every day as a constant reminder that can impact on their confidence, ability to work and build trusting relationships, skin health is something so many of us take for granted.&nbsp; The other area which I see more and more of is irregular skin pigmentation and skin cancer related moles or skin legions. Skin cancer is the most common group of cancer in the UK which is a shocking statistic. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #808080;">There are over 2000 known skin diseases and The British skin foundation does the most amazing work in raising awareness, research into new treatments and supporting those suffering of all kinds of skin related concerns. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #808080;">An aspect of human health a hold dear to I am very keen to support this incredible charity in furthering their work, so possibly rather foolishly I have signed up to join the Charity 10k run July 8 2012&hellip;&hellip;&hellip;. Now this is not something I have done before, I do enjoy a bit of a run but I am more used to a run around the park rather than a ful on 10k.
