Story

I'VE REACHED MY FUNDRAISING GOAL! I'VE DECIED TO HAVE AN EXTENDED GOAL OF £250. LET'S KEEP MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

Hello all. My first Half Marathon I ran with my best friend Katie Weatherford. It was the Brooklyn Half and I found the experience so rewarding I thought, "Why not do it again!" And why not help a charity I believe in!

RISE is a charity helping people affected by domestic abuse. By offering practical solutions, shelter, and support in Brighton, Hove and Sussex. (for more information: www.rise.org.uk)

Every month The Komedia in Brighton is home to "Funny Women" a show and organization that works to raise money with Rise through hosting amazing all female comedy nights. That's how I became familiar with Rise. I'm a stand up comedian and I've done these shows. It's so awesome working with a local charity, and I'm pumped to raise money and RUN for RISE!
