The Gurkha Welfare Trust is the leading Gurkha charity. We provide financial, medical and community aid to relieve poverty and distress among retired Gurkha soldiers, their families and their wider communities.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

We have decided to take on this challenge as we want to give back to a certain person who has helped us develop as young adults. Serjeant Jordan Beecher is an amputee below the knee and an ex-serviceman who served with the Parachute Regiment in Afghanistan. He is one of our adult instructors at cadets and recently has rowed across the Atlantic Ocean with another currently serving Gurkha Officer. They beat the world record by 3 days. Jordan is raising money for Blesma, Dreamflight and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.

We want to support Jordan's fundraising efforts by raising £100 for each charity. We hope to accomplish this by putting rowing machines in the Abingdon Town Centre and between 13 cadets, rowing 200km.

We hope you can generously donate to support our, and Jordan's, efforts.
