Standard Chartered Home Run Challenge 2021 · 10 June 2021

Everyone deserves a fair chance at success. The Standard Chartered Foundation supports economic inclusion for young people from low-income backgrounds, one success story at a time. We do this through our partners in over 40 countries that focus on programmes to learn, earn and grow.

Story

We are four colleagues making magic with data. Our runners are:

  • Ahita Paul
  • Bret Dasgupta
  • CJ Kim
  • Venkat Naidu

(Our honorary 4 legged runners are the handsome Goldie, Indiana Bones, and the Singapore special dark horse, Hector!)

We are volunteering to collectively walk/run 100km, raising money for Futuremakers programme that aim to empower the next generation to learn, earn, and grow. These programmes play a vital role in helping young people recover from the economic impact of COVID-19.  Help us meet our target and help the future!

More on the foundation:

The Standard Chartered Foundation focuses on tackling inequality. It promotes greater economic inclusion for disadvantaged young people from low-income households, particularly girls, women and people with visual impairments, providing opportunities to make a better future for themselves and their families. We are the lead delivery partner for Futuremakers by Standard Chartered and fund programmes in the areas of education, employability, entrepreneurship and eye health.
