Very recently a close friend of the Accelerace Team lost a family member to Leukaemia. In a short amount of time (just a few months) the disease struck down a fit and strong young man.

Therefore, it has been decided that for the 2009 Extreme Triathlon, we will be raising funds to help Leukaemia Research, and their hunt for cures and causes of this often terminal form of cancer.

We'd like to ask all competitors that if they could spare some change for the charity it would be hugely appreciated by all. Accelerace will making a united donation as well, maybe even to match what you can raise as competitors.
