Story
Each year for the past nine years, the Action for Children Scotland Women of Influence Awards has celebrated a woman who has had a remarkable impact on Scottish society. This year, in honour of the tenth year of the Awards, the red carpet will be rolled out for, not one, but ten influential women – ‘The Perfect 10’ - in a glittering birthday bash that is set to raise a record amount for Action for Children Scotland.
Taking place on Sunday, 21st March in the grand Hunter Halls, Glasgow University, the Woman of Influence Awards exist to encourage, support and recognise influential women in Scotland. Previous winners include: Helen Liddell, Scotland’s first female Secretary of State; Olivia Giles, Motivational Speaker and Charity Campaigner; and Elish Angiolini, the first ever female Solicitor General for Scotland and Lord Advocate.
