Story

Dear friends,

As you are probably aware by now, I've decided to join the new bunch of hip and trendy characters who run their hearts out for charity. On 10th October 2010 I shall be running the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon for Cancer Research UK.

Aside from my attempt at fitness and coolness, this is all for a very good cause - supporting scientific research to fight cancer. It is also a fantastic run and a celebration of our beloved London parks, home to so many picnics, tanning sessions and inappropriate men in tight speedos.

So, please donate a few pounds for these great causes and my ultimate attempt to embrace a cleaner healthier lifestyle.

I am looking forward to seeing as many of you at the race in October, cheering me as I turn lobster red in the face with agony.

Many many thanks,

Irina
