The Carrots NightWalk 2013 · 20 September 2013 ·

Imagine being told that you, or someone you love, is losing their sight. In that moment, two profound questions demand urgent answers: Can this be stopped? How will I live my life? We fund the brilliant minds and bright ideas, putting change in sight for everyone impacted by vision loss.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you probably know my son Jude was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP).This condition causes severe visual impairment and leads to blindness.

'Fight for Sight' is a charitable organisation who fund vital research into blindness and eye disease. On Friday 20th September I wil be doing the 15 mile Carrot NightWalk in Birmingham to raise money and awareness of RP and other eye diseases.

Until recently, serious visual impairment was something I had no knowledge or experience of. Sight is a sense that we depend on the most but that we normally take for granted for ourselves and our loved ones.

Donating to this cause and sponsoring my walk would not only support the important research 'Fight for Sight' do, it would also support me personally in turning a challenging situation into an opportunity to do something positive.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please would you donate as genourously as you can, every penny is going to a great cause.

Thank you,

Adam
