My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 2nd October 2011, I plan to take part in my first ever Viking Challenge (www.vikingchallenge.org.uk), an off road cycling event over 30Km.  I will be raising money for The Ear Foundation and Redmile School.

The ride will be a big challenge for me at just 9 years old but I'm keen to raise as much money as I can.  I have friends with cochleal implants and so I know what a huge difference they can make to the lives of deaf children.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Established in 1989 to bring cochlear implantation for deaf children to the UK; cochlear implants give useful hearing to those unable to benefit from hearing aids. It provides long-term help for the child, family and supporting professionals. One half of profoundly deaf children in the UK now have cochlear implants.
