Story

In November last year Richard Collin’s son Dan tragically lost his fight against cancer.  A number of Richard's friends who have ridden with Richard over the years are undertaking a cycling challenge to raise funds and awareness for the Teenage Cancer Trust an specifically the Weston Park Teenage Cancer Unit.  The Unit provided exceptional clinical support for Dan Collin, a great deal of support for Richard.

I will be riding from Haslemere to Sheffield and back over the weekend of 12/13th July.  This is a bit far for a solo ride so I will be riding half of the distance each day - approximately 180km a day and 360km for the weekend.

The Weston Park Teenage Cancer Unit do a fantasic job.  Generally the NHS supports the very young and older patients well - teenagers  aren't so well supported (because they are generally fit and well).  The Teenage Cancer Trust provide fantastic specialist support for the unlucky few teenages and their families that do unfortunately get ill.

Any small contribution would be really appreciated appreciated

Many thanks

Adam
