Thank you for visiting this page. We have just completed a cycle chalenge around Scotland in aid of Prostate Scotland. Equipe Prostate is a team made up of eight cycle friends and supporters of the charity, including myself, who gave up their time, energy and enthusiasm for this important cause. We did it in six days, starting and finishing in Edinburgh and taking in Stirling, Fort William, Inverness, Ballater and Perth thereby covering much of the country (each day cycling around 100 kilometres, completing over 600 kilometres in total). The route took us up Glen Ogle, through Glencoe, up the Great Glen with a brief stop at Maggie's Highland in Inverness, then over the many mountains to Ballater, up Glenshee and finally down to Perth before crossing back over the Forth Road Bridge to Edinburgh.
Prostate disease affects nearly one in two men over the age of fifty and one in twelve men in Scotland may develop prostate cancer. We hope by undertaking this ride and raising some funding and awareness we can help in a small way to support the charity's work to raise awareness of prostate disease and its treatments across the country. I hope you will feel inspired to dig deep in aid of the charity to help us go the extra mile.

PS. As director of the charity - inspired by all the amazing things that supporters of the charity do to raise funds- I felt it was only right to get on my bike too.
