<p>On September 18th 2011, I&nbsp;hope to take&nbsp;part in a 10k charity run to raise money for the Parent's Consortium.</p> <p>For those of you who don't know what it is, the <a href="http://www.joydens-wood-junior.kent.sch.uk/images/Extended%20School/parents%20consortium%20for%20disabled.jpg">Parent's Consortium</a> is a Dartford-based charity which offers pastoral care to children aged 5-18 with various learning difficulties (such as Autism and Down's syndrome).&nbsp;&nbsp;Equipped with a range of facilities that cater to the potential needs of every child under it's care, The&nbsp;Consortium also enables these children to experience things that they might not&nbsp;see or&nbsp;do under normal circumstances-such as day trips to London or the Seaside.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The Parent's Consortium needs all the help it can get to ensure that it can offer care to to anyone who requires it.&nbsp; Your donation could help disabled children have fun and experience life in a way that usually is next to impossible for them.&nbsp; Trust me, I know money might be a bit tight at the moment-but even the smallest amount of money could&nbsp;allow a child to&nbsp;step out into the world and have fun doing things we may have taken for granted.</p> <p>So come on.
