On September 18th 2011, I hope to take part in a 10k charity run to raise money for the Parent's Consortium.
For those of you who don't know what it is, the Parent's Consortium is a Dartford-based charity which offers pastoral care to children aged 5-18 with various learning difficulties (such as Autism and Down's syndrome). Equipped with a range of facilities that cater to the potential needs of every child under it's care, The Consortium also enables these children to experience things that they might not see or do under normal circumstances-such as day trips to London or the Seaside.
The Parent's Consortium needs all the help it can get to ensure that it can offer care to to anyone who requires it. Your donation could help disabled children have fun and experience life in a way that usually is next to impossible for them. Trust me, I know money might be a bit tight at the moment-but even the smallest amount of money could allow a child to step out into the world and have fun doing things we may have taken for granted.
So come on. Dig deep!
