Thanks for taking time to visit my page.                                  For the second year i have decided to run the coventry half marathon to help raise funds for those who are going through a difficult time. I have trained in the freezing cold,snow,strong winds not to be seen and  not because it's easy but because i have the luxury of going back to a warm house,with access to warm water and food while others are denied the most basic human rights ie food,shelter and clothes and living through unhumane conditions, some with trauma caused by witnessing their loved ones being raped,kidnapped or killed. I can not sit back and watch and think well it's not my family i have my own problems to sort out.

One elder said and his words are true today and in the past generations:

"Yes we are saddened by the events before us but also we should be proactive in dealing with problems in the best way possible. Humanity starts wars and humanity ignores wars. Humanity allows for death and destructions. There's an oppressor and there's the silent observer and others who are completely unfazed by the sufferings"

This year the cause is to help the Rohingyas and also help raise awareness  about the a helpless people who are going through an ethnic cleansing for a number of years now. Their stories and sufferings are unheard of. They have been displaced by a brutal regime in what used to be called Burma. 

The little help we can give goes a long way in a way we can not imagine. £50 can provide a food pack for families up to a month, £100 can provide sanitary items, clothes and blankets ,£200 provides safe clean water for many families.
