Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know I lost my mum to lung cancer in November 2014, her loss has been the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with and I am still today adapting to life without her. In her final weeks with us she was moved to St Barnabas Hospice where she could be more comfortable and receive the best possible care, I got to see first hand how wonderful this place and the staff were and I have since been forever grateful for everything they did for her. I got into cycling last year and have wanted to do a challenge to raise money to give St Barnabas Hospice something back as a thanks for what they did for Mum.

So me and 3 of my friends Ross Park, Charlie Blow and Carl Hughes have decided to take on LEJOG, this is cycling from Lands End in Cornwall all the way to John O'Groats at the peak of Scotland which works out to be over 900 miles in 9 days. We start cycling on 18th July from Cornwall and will finish on 26th July at John O'Groats. We cant wait to get going and we are all training hard to get ready for the challenge. Please help us raise money for a wonderful charity and I can give my Mum something to be proud of from up there in the sky :) x
