I'm taking on the challenge to row twenty-one miles across Lake Windermere on the 21st May 2014 to raise as much dollar as I can for Macmillan Cancer. 

I wanted to do this to give something back, especially for one of my closest friends, Laura, who sadly lost her mom to cancer in 2007. Laura has grown up to be an incredible woman and I know that Janet would be extremely proud of her - I know I am! So, this is my way of saying thank you to Laura for being an amazing friend over the years and to show my unconditional support to her (forever! and whenever she may need it!)

I take on this challenge with all my guts and determination. Wish me luck! (and dig deep my beauts!) - the achy legs will be worth it!
