<p>The time has come for me to ask, beg, nag you for some hard earned money to sponsor me for the London Marathon! </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Yes, on April 17th I am entering the London Marathon, 26.2 miles! </p>
<p> </p>
<p>I have a target time of 4 hours, and am looking to raise £2,500 for <span style="font-size: 14px;"><span class="keypoint" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold;">Auditory Verbal<sup>UK.</sup></span> A national charity which teaches deaf babies and children to listen and speak using Auditory Verbal Therapy, so that they can achieve their potential in life.</span></p>

<p>A deaf baby is born in the UK every 12 hours. In early years, children with a hearing impairment are given access to sound through hearing aids and cochlear implants, but need to be taught during infancy how to listen and communicate. After three years of parent-focused<strong> </strong><span class="keypoint" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Auditory Verbal Therapy</span>, over 80% of the deaf and hearing-impaired children we see close the language gap and enter mainstream schools. </p>
