Paris Marathon 2012 · 15 April 2012 ·
Hello
Firstly, thank you for visiting my sponsorship page, I hope you will read on to find out what its all about.
On 15th April 2012, I will be completing my first marathon, the Paris Marathon! Without knowing what its like to run such a distance, my first aim is to complete the course with my second aim to finish within 4 hours.
It is clearly a life time achievement to complete such an event and appreciate that I am lucky to have been given this opportunity. It is also a great honour in itself to support the GB Paralympic team.
As part of my training, I will also be running in 2 organised Half Marathon events (12/02/12 and 04/03/12) on top of regular outings, pounding the streets.
I'm hoping to raising more than £1000 for ParalympicsGB! Every penny that is collected via my "Just Giving" page is donated to the ParalympicsGB team, all costs associated to entry and travel have already been covered.
Even better news, as I am raising money for our company charity partner, every bit of money is matched pound for pound.
ParalympicsGB is an incredible charity – they are just a team of 23 people - so hopefully that reassures you that the money raised doesn’t go to marketing campaigns or TV adverts but for supporting people with disability to compete in sports across Great Britain.
So please give what you can – your money truly makes a difference and also helps to inspire me when I’m training in and around Exeter come rain or shine...oh yeah, and the freezing cold!
Cheers
Adam

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
