Thank you soooooo much for visiting my page and sponsoring me and my crazy plan to run the London Marathon.

You already know how I've lived my life - boozing, smoking, eating junk food and struggling to visit the gym, so you already know what a challenge this is going to be for me, and for that reason alone I ask you to dig deep!

You probably also know by now that at the age of 18, just six weeks into Uni life I almost died from Meningitis & Septicaemia. Some of you were you there, many of you will remember the time well - but I doubt anyone as much as my Mum, Dad, Roy & Marg. When Dad was told he may never see me alive again, he sped up the motorway while Mum was planning my funeral on a plane.

No parents should have to go through that.

We were the lucky ones, and here I am about to embark on the mad marathon run! Others are not so lucky.

However through the amazing work of Meningitis Research Foundation, less and less families have to go through what we went through... or much worse.

Now that I have tugged on your heart strings (hopefully) and you now know how important this charity is to me personally, I am going to be cheeky, and ask you to dig that little bit deeper!!
