When Les Sudron of MHA attended a family funeral in Loughborough in late 2010, he was very struck by the means of transport used by the minister, Rev Adam Wells.  Adam travels everywhere by Recumbent Trike. The picture shows Adam's Trice QNT.   In response to Les's interest in the Trike, Adam offered to use his journey to the 2011 Methodist Conference in Southport as a fundraiser for MHA.

The trip from Loughborough to Southport will be around 120 miles, which he will complete in one day, guided by his trusty Sat Nav.  Adam will be carrying everything he needs for the Conference so will most definitely be ready for a cup of tea upon arrival.

Adam has completed similar one day rides:  Glasgow to Crieff @ 100 miles; Lancaster to Durham @ 150 miles; Circular ride around Loughborough @ 130 miles and Loughborough to Rainhill @ 100 miles.  As, in course of his work, Adam cycles in excess of 300 miles each month additional training will not be necessary.

The purpose of the ride is to highlight green issues by showing how far you can travel by human power and also to raise as much as he can for MHA.
