FFK Walk to Work 2012 · 18 May 2012

Futures for Kids raises funds on behalf of the futures and options industry for charities which work to provide better lives and futures for children internationally.

Story

Yes that isn’t a joke I really am going to walk to work and to make it worse I’m travelling 20 miles further from home to walk in with friends and colleagues for the full 35 miles!!! Ok you can stop laughing now….. please…

So why am I doing this? Futures for Kids (FFK) was established as a Charitable Foundation to raise funds which will be used to provide better lives and futures for children.  Established in February 2008 by a group of individuals who work in the futures and options industry, they want to create a focal point for individuals and organisations in our industry to raise funds for charity and give something back to the community supporting children’s charities across the UK & overseas…

The 'Futures for Kids Walk to Work' will kick off at 6am (what was I thinking!) where friends and colleagues from the futures, options and foreign exchange communities walk 35 miles for this great cause. There are shorter routes as well if you want to join for half a day or a little more (10 & 20 mile routes)..
