The Countess of Brecknock Hospice provides outstanding palliative and end-of-life care to people living with life-limiting illness, together with comfort and support for their loved ones and carers. All services are free, testament to our belief that dignity and comfort should be accessible to all.

Story

Well we did it!

After an horrific 1st day that involved torrential rain, blood, a puncture and a steak and ale pie and a 2nd day that provided the added thrill of a strong headwind we finished on St Ives harbour side at 6pm at the end of day 2.

Thank you all for the completely overwhelming response to this. I really can't thank you all enough.

Adam

I am going to cycle from Romsey to St Ives, Cornwall (240 miles) over the course of two days in August with my Dad.

We are doing this to try to raise money for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice that cared for my mum so amazingly. Mum would have turned 60 this year had she not died of cancer 5 years ago.

I know its no Everest or Sahara trek but to put it into context when I had this idea I was 14 and a half stone, very unfit and didn't even own a bike. This will be hard.
