Story

Hi all,

Inspired by Space volunteer David Grindley, I am taking part in the 'soon-to-be' annual sponsored Wheels and Walk journey in aid of the Space's community theatre company 'SpaceWorks'. Funding for the arts is getting harder and harder so we must all do our bit. My bit will be to complete the journey using a Pythonesque Silly Walk which will not only make me look very silly but is also potentially very dangerous. Hopefully there will be a whole ministry of silly walkers, skateboarders, cyclists and pogo-stick users joining me along the way, singing songs and spreading the good word. If not, it'll just be me and David looking very silly on our own.

You can find out more about my worthy cause at www.space.org.uk

I've also worked out that if over 20 people gave me just £1, I'll have run out of fingers and toes.

Here's some reassuring information from the good people at JustGiving.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now for something completely different.
