Adam and Hazel are running the London Marathon on 22nd April 2012. We are raising money for Emmaus Norwich, a Charity close to Hazel's heart as she is a Trustee and has been involved for the past three years.
NEWS FLASH: Thank you to everyone who attended the 'Last night of the proms' concert - it was a great evening. Particular thanks to our glamorous helpers:- Gita, Lynda, Stacy and Nancy, John for letting us have the church for the evening and Richard Powell for his fab posters and programmes, and last but not least Helen and Gary. We made a grand total of £318 so big thanks to everybody who came along and supported our fundriasing efforts.
Please help us achieve our big fat fundraising target by digging deep!
To encourage you along a bit, anyone who donates will be entered into a prize draw to win one of the following:-
A gardener for the day
Homemade cake of your choice (there are two of these)
A meal for your family cooked by Adam and Hazel (can't guarantee quality!)
A music lesson (on violin or flute)
One off free skip hire from W.T. Waste, Great Yarmouth
£20 voucher to spend at the Emmaus Norwich community
The winners will be drawn out of a sweaty marathon cap after the event. If you live outside Norfolk we may have to substitue the prize if you win!

Our training
Today we have just done our final really long training session, and ran 18-20 miles. We only have a month to go before the big day itself, and think it's probably going to take us about 5 and a half hours to get round. Adam has put a lot of work into building up to the big day, including doing the Great North run and a the Wymondham 20 miler. Hazel started running in November, and had to build up to running for half an hour before doing longer runs. It has been hardwork for both of us....but we are nearly there.
Thanks so much to those of you who have donated so far.
Thank you so much
Adam and Hazelx
