Chariots of Fire Charity Relay Race Cambridge 2006 · 22 August 2006

We are East Anglian Air Ambulance. A charity providing lifesaving critical care, 24/7, every day of the year across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Whether by air or road, we’re there for the most seriously ill and injured, when every second counts.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We are all still alive and had no need to use the reserved Intensive Care bed. We completed the course in 86 minutes with Stephen Graves and our new Chief Executive Gareth Goodier each completing their 1.7 miles in 12 minutes.  There is still time to sponsor us..we are nearly at our £5,000 target ..so please..dig deep!

All proceeds from the Chariots of Fire event this year will go towards building a first-class helipad for Addenbrooke's in the field opposite the Rosie. The helipad will be fully equipped for night landings and will be able to handle East Anglian Air Ambulance's new Eurocopter as well as their small Anglia One helicopter.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.....and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
