Having family members past and present receiving cancer treatment through Christies, I couldn't think of a better organisation to raise money for!

They not only provide treatment for cancer patients, but also spend time and money into research on cures and medications, I think we can all relate to this cause!

 

Some facts about cancer (take from Cancer Research UK):

·  There are more than 200 types of cancer, each with different causes, symptoms and treatments.

·  Around 325,000 people were diagnosed with cancer in 2010 in the UK, that's around 890 people every day.

·  Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer.

 

·  More than 1 in 3 people in the UK will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime.

·  Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer.

 

·  More than 1 in 3 people in the UK will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime.

Eight of us have planned a trek in Snowdon on Saturday 16th November (aiming to get 50 trekkers up there, and each to raise £200.00 each as a minimum), feel free to contact me if you want to take part and fund raise, or just donate some money, every penny counts, literally!
