DUQC 24 hour basketball match · 29 May 2016

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

"It's insane!", they said. "You'll be on the move constantly". "There'll be no time to rest". "How is that even possible?"

Not long after, I took the most appropriate course of action and signed up to the first ever 24 hour basketball match on campus. After all, these were just more reasons why I loved the game so much: the speed, the focus, and the drive to push yourself beyond expectation.

So, on the 29th of May I will be playing an extraordinary 24 hours of basketball for charity, non-stop, with a team full of brilliant and enthused individuals equally committed to the cause. The Teenage Cancer Trust are an inspiring charity that facilitate specialist care and support for young patients in the UK. Please help us support them by helping us reach our fundraising target. Thanks :)
