Inver-Inver 2012 · 29 June 2012

In 2015, The Steeple Church, Dundee are setting ourselves the challenge to, between us all, walk or run 1000 miles to raise funds for our partners in India to demonstrate that we walk with them. 'When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; and if you run, you will not stumble' (Proverbs 4:12).

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

At the end of June a group of 17 people from The Steeple Church Dundee travelled by boat, on foot and by bicycle, across one of the broadest parts of Scotland from Inverie in Knoydart to Inverbervie on the east coast – a distance of around 176 miles. The weather was wet and cold most of the time but the whole team made it to Inverbervie on Monday afternoon and four brave members of the team even had a dip in the sea to celebrate the end of the journey! The ‘Inver-Inver Crossers’ hope to raise funds from sponsorship for the Development Project.

The Steeple Church, in Dundee, is externally sound but internally it is ‘unfit for purpose’. The planned upgrade to the facilities will create a resource that is ‘fit for purpose’.
