Crucially, less than 3% of money raised is spent on administration costs. The rest goes straight to the children they support. They are also transparent and accountable in that they reproduce their annual reports in full online. Examples of HOPE’s work include providing prosthetic limbs to children disabled by land mines in Sri Lanka, special equipment for disabled children in the UK and funding for street children centres in Zambia, India, Zimbabwe and the Philippines.
