We are the Spire Tunbridge Hospital team running our first half marathon in aid of the Pickering Centre, who provide great support for cancer sufferers and their families. Our hospital staff are really keen that we support this important charity who we know first hand have supported our patients well.
Our goal is to finish and do so in one piece! But just in case ... we have our physios at the finishing line who will try to put us back together. Quite motivational is that! My personal goal is to ensure no one dressed as a cornish pasty over takes me! That would be deeply embarrassing. Still, as this is my very first venture of this kind, I guess I'd better get comfortable with that risk .....
