We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to stop women dying from breast cancer.

Story

Well, we did it. Jamie and I ran every step of the 2012 Virgin London Marathon together. It was a very emotional day for us and we would like to thank all of our team who came down to London to support us. Also, a very big thank you to everyone who donated to our cause. Your support has been absolutely fantastic, the amount we have raised is mindblowing!

And the biggest thanks of all go to Jamie's Mum, my wife, Jo. You have been a true inspiration and it was you and the way you reacted to your illness that motivated us and helped us get through when the going got tough. You are a very special lady and we both love you loads!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In June of 2011 my wife, Jo Davis, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer at the age of 45. At the time, Jo was a fit and healthy individual and had no inclination that anything was wrong with her. In the months following diagnosis, we as a family have experienced some highs and some lows, but Jo has amazed us all by the courage and determination she has shown throughout. She is a true inspiration and watching her battle this cruel illness inspired our son Jamie and I to enter the 2012 London Marathon in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign.

With your help, we can move closer to finding a cure for this horrible illness that touches so many families. Follow our story as Jo continues her treatment and Jamie and I train for the big day. We will be running dressed in pink on the big day, and the more money we raise the more outrageous our outfits will be. Photographic evidence will be available! So please dig deep and donate to this worthy cause now!
