At the end of 2010, I was talking to a colleague who suggested cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End.
At the time I thought it was a good idea and agreed to do it. Therefore between 11th and 24th June I will be cycling 1040 miles from the top of Scotland to the bottom of Cornwall. Those of you that know me will know that I am not really a cyclist and that I will be putting myself through quite a bit of discomfort.
However my pain is nothing compared to that which Cancer sufferers and their families go through. For this reason I am using this opportunity to raise some money for The Christie Cancer hospital in Manchester. The work that they do is amazing and very much needed.
