I am participating in the 2013 World Challenges at Home fundraising event orgainsed by the University of Glasgow. My aim is to raise £1000, or more if possible, for the Heart Disease Fund to help support research into Heart Disease at the Universty of Glasgow.Information about this event can be found at http://www.gla.ac.uk/alumni/events/2013worldchallengesathome/
Heart disease is a family affair and when a family member gets sick we all need
to make adjustments and be prepared to support each other. There is a long
history of heart disease in our families and I am taking this opportunity to
raise funds to help towards research which would benefit all.I would like to dedicate this event to my family members who are recovering from very serious
illnesses at this time and all our departed loved ones.
