<p>PKAVS (Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service) is our selected charity for 2011. They are a fabulous charity helping 5000 local people through various community based activities.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The area that interests me the most is the PKAVS Young Carers Project. Through circumstances beyond their control, some children find themselves with caring responsibilites for their parent(s) and/or siblings. Some of these kids are as young as 7 years old!</p>
<p>PKAVS aim to give both physical and emotional support to these amazing children, allowing them to be just a child again like their friends, if only for a few hours a week.</p>

<p><span style="color: #000080;"><em><strong>JEWELLERY VALUATION<br /></strong></em></span>I am holding two jewellery valuation weekends at my office/laboratory as part of the fundraising project:</p>
<p> <strong>0 Half-price jewellery valuations (max 2 items)</strong></p>
<p> <strong>0 100% of the fees goes to PKAVS</strong></p>
<p>The valuation appointments start at 8am, the last appointment is 6pm. On Saturdays and Sundays of the 10th/11th September and 15th/16th October.</p>
