July signals the start of some serious training for Great North Run 2012. This year I aim to get a time of 1hr 50mins.

I'm running for a charity this year, Marie Curie Cancer Care. In particular I'm running for the nurses and carers that work in hospices and home visits. During the last few months of my Dad's life the Marie Curie nurses were a really kind and caring team. They helped out my mum lots, visiting throughout the day, keeping her company and looking after my dad.
