Story
Hi everyone!
Bad news!!! On 19th June, myself and my colleagues travelled in the early hours to Strathallan Airfield to do our skydive, only to sit there for 10 hours while we waited on the right conditions to be able to do the jump! Sadly, the right conditions didn't present themselves and we've had to reschedule the jump for early August. Gutted!!
On the bright side, this leaves us more time to raise more funds for this very worthy cause. So! If you haven't donated yet, or know someone who hasn't, then you know what to do! Dig deep!

On 19th June 2010, I will be flinging myself from an aeroplane - all for Make A Wish UK! Yes, that's right - I will be setting aside my guitar and taking to the skies to take part in a charity skydive, in association with NFU Mutual Direct.
This is something I have always wanted to do and, although I am admittedly terrified, I truly believe that a few minutes of terror for me is worth it if it can bring some light and joy to the lives of terminally ill children, through the work of Make A Wish UK. NFU Mutual are celebrating their centenary year in 2010 and one of the themes of the celebrations is to give something back to the community. Their nominated charity, chosen by NFU Mutual staff nationwide, is Make A Wish UK and the aim is to grant 100 wishes in 2010. The skydive event is the first major push by the Glasgow based NFU Mutual Direct towards this goal. My personal goal of £500 will make a good dent in the overall target figure of £7000 for the event. A total of 19 people are taking part - staff, friends, family and, of course, my good self!
Please donate whatever you can - even if it's just a quid! Ever little helps, as they say. Your donations can really make a difference to the lives of these kids.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
